Every Monday Role Play Event 6:00pm - 10:00pm Role Play Day with a new Plot line.

Every Tuesday Role Play Event 5:30pm - 7:00pm SLT Role Play Basics Class at Weltenville RP Villages.

Every Wednesday Role Play Event11:00am - 6:30pm Combat Training in the Arena 11 AM and 6:30 PM SLT

The Weltenville Role Play Sim Rules

Number 1:  not knowing the rules is not an excuse. Break the rules and you're out.

Warning to any Vampires or Lycans: ALL BITES HERE WILL BE DONE IN A ROLE PLAY SETTING, NO EXCUSES, NO SECOND CHANCES!

All visitors must be in proper attire Goth; Victorian or Medieval dress. Free items are available in the Welcome area.

Just keep in mind this is all role-playing, and it must be consensual. If anything happens you do not like, just leave.  If you feel your RP limits and OOC communication are not being respected, teleport out and report the situation to a Weltenville admin.

This is a Role Play Area and the Wolf Haven Lycans here are friends and help protect this sim.  Any type of Blood War attack, any type of hit and run attack, any unsolicited bite request in our sim will cause you to be BANNED from the full sim no matter what game you are with.  All disputes, including Blood Wars, will be dealt with by challenge here and a contest to the death in the Arena. If you don’t have the nads to stand and fight, go away and take your bad game with you.

IMPORTANT: We are located at a mixed use sim.  Most importantly: you are welcome to use any part of our sim but understand that we have a Biker Area, a BDSM area and these areas are tied to RL businesses.  That being said, act and look appropriate when not in the RP area. If you are a non-human, revert to your human form before entering any other area of our sim. We also have an Orientation Center on our sim with new people coming here all the time; this is not a hunting ground, and anyone found to be putting bites on people in our non RP areas will be banned from our sim, and if you are a SETITES Clan member you will be removed from the Clan.

Our Clan shares our RP sim with a Pack “The Lycans of Wolf Haven” and we have a full peace with them; in fact they guard our sim and protect our Clan. Lycans are an unruly bunch and can be difficult at times, but remember they are a great asset to us and trusted friends.

The RP sim is at 700M and is in 5 parts.

We have Wolf Haven Sanctuary, a village for the Lycans of Wolf Haven. And the Hair of the Dog Pub.

We have Weltenville, a Safe Zone walled village of small shops and Welcome Area, and Daemons Club, and no one will be approached in this area to RP unless you know them. THIS IS A NO BITE ZONE.

We have The Glen, our Vampire area, and this has a few private homes and a few public areas.  In the furthest corner of the Glen, the Temple of Set is being built.

THE COMBAT ARENA: this is where we will have Combat events. At all times our sim is non-harm unless we are having a Combat event and then only in the Arena will Harm be allowed.

THE MAIN CASTLE: This is the meeting area and the Private home of the Setites Clan and is full of great sex and BDSM equipment, as well as rooms for socializing. There are a few rules to enter the Main Castle: You must me a member of the RP group, you must be in human form. THIS AREA IS GROUP ACCESS ONLY!

AGAIN, please remember that people from the BDSM area will also be using the Main Castle areas and may be on the grounds but will have an Observer tag on. Talking about the RP area and educating them about the game is great, but do not try to bring them into your RP unless they ask.

Visitors are encouraged to join the role play of Weltenville. Be aware, however, that Weltenville RP has a certain theme and historical / fantasy setting. Visitors should make an effort to keep their character and role play within this setting, as well as abiding by the charter and rules of the land.  Visitor status is only allowed for the first few visits; if you wish to become a regular here, please submit a note card with details of your character / persona.

CHARACTER / PERSONA: All citizens are REQUIRED to submit a note card with details of their character / persona; this is to ensure no one is god moding. Even though the Weltenville charter has a strong emphasis on freedom, one must ensure that the character they are playing is one that they identify with.

Send Character Note Card to admin: Geno Lupindo. Please do this before you engage in combat or any significant RP.

Acceptance of this Charter by entering Weltenville RP and /or becoming a member of the EPE Dominion group and/or any of its authorized factional groups means you have accepted the conditions of this charter and the Weltenville RP rules. You have acknowledged that you have read all documents issued by the Weltenville RP Greeter at the Welcome area.

IC and OOC:

1.  IC (in character) is the default communication mode in all role playing areas of Weltenville RP.

2. OOC (out of character) messages must be within ((double parentheses)), or labeled as OOC, otherwise it will be interpreted in Weltenville RP as IC. Examples of valid OOC messages are:

     OOC: Please get on the poseball.

3. Keep all OOC time to a minimum.

4. One exception to this is when Admin is OOCing in a role play or sim admin capacity. But even then it is preferred that it is either in IM or in (( )) or OOC - text.

5. The only open chat OOC area in Weltenville RP is the Welcome Area, Daemons Club and the Market Area, (high up in the air).  Once you leave the Safe Zone Areas, you are in an IC area.

6). OOC insults, swearing or abusive language are not acceptable in open chat, group chat or IM. If one is subject to abusive OOC language while on this sim please ensure you save the chat or IM, as they may be required if you submit a complaint.

7). If you speak of rules, fair play or anything that relates to rules or OOC details during the role-play, you are considered OOC and will be read as such even if you fail to put the message in (()).

If someone is wearing an Observer Tag, they are not in character, and are not to participate in RP. If they talk to you don't get offended or insulting in OOC. IM them and explain the rules.

OBSERVER TAGS:  if you see anyone with an Observer tag on please understand they are here to look and meet people.  Be nice; if they ask about the game, inform without trying to push them into the game and do not involve them in your RP.

WEAPONS: First and foremost, anyone pulling a weapon of any type on anyone outside the Combat area will be removed. Second, there are no bombs, guns, tanks or anything other than blades, bows and club or hammer type weapons in our RP’s time era so don’t even think of having any of these weapons on you. We would rather you not have any weapons on you while in RP other than in the Combat Arena. There are no weapons at all allowed in the other areas of our sim, so no exceptions.

AVATARS: Our RP is set in a magical time, a time of Vampires, Lycans, Demons, Dragons and Sorcery.  So we will allow many types of avatars on the RP sim.  However, we do not allow avatars not in any way true to the feeling of our RP like Santa Claus, walking beating hearts, Popeye or teddy bears, ECT.

AGE LIMITS: This is a mature sim. In accordance with the SL TOS and community standards, everyone who enters Weltenville must be over 18 years of age. Their avatars should also look and act at least 18 years of age.

CHILD AVATARS: We do not allow child avatars on the sim anywhere.

UNSOLICITED BITING or REAPING: Any unsolicited bite request or reaping attempt in our sim will cause you to be removed no matter what game you are with. All bites here are done via role play end of story.

GRIEFING: This one is probably obvious, but if you're reported for griefing (attacking avatars with cages, orbiters, push weapons, etc.) or for using racial slurs, or being verbally abusive or threatening, you will be banned from the sim, and will probably be abuse reported to the Lindens.

SEX AND NUDITY: Although we are a mature sim, and understand that some Vampire cultures are very mixed with BDSM etc., we want to keep the RP area a relaxed environment. If you are naked we ask that you cover up, and if you want to have sex we ask that you do it elsewhere.

CLOTHING: Weltenville is a medieval / Victorian / Goth RP sim, therefore one should dress accordingly. If you walk on two legs you are expected to wear appropriate clothing.

FURRIES: Sorry, but furries are not allowed on this sim as they are not consistent with the fantasy aspects of Weltenville.

DRAGON AVATARS: These are sacred creatures. If you wish to RP as a dragon it must be authorized.

SLAVES: As with Sex/nudity, Weltenville allows for freedom of choice in role play. This is considered a special case, and must be 100% consensual for all who take part.

FLYING: Flight in Weltenville is restricted to those races with flight. If you fly, use wings.

METER: The only authorized meters in Weltenville are the Spellfire, VITAE, Bloodlines, Hunger, or K.R.O.S. Meters.

SAFEZONES: The only SAFEZONES are at the Welcome Area, Daemons Club and the Market Area as pertaining to Weltenville RP Villages.

RENTING: Those who wish to rent a place in Weltenville please contact Geno Lupindo. It is not appropriate to enter rental homes with out the renter's permission, and it completely inappropriate to take unauthorized photos, particularly of avatars.

OOC ABUSE

Will not be tolerated, what is said in IC is IC. You can hate each other IC, but in OOC (( )) or OOC, text abuse is not allowed and is a punishable offense under the SL TOS and community standards. This sim will not tolerate any who participate in any form of abuse as outlined by the SL TOS.

COMPLIANCE WITH SL TOS

In addition to the Weltenville charter and rules, any who breach general SL terms of agreement and/or terms of service (TOS) will be warned of the breach; if your actions continue to breach those terms you will be ejected, banished and reported to LL.
